About me

My name is Emma and I’m a dedicated photojournalist with a passion for storytelling that drives meaningful change. With years of experience in writing, photography, editing, and editorial publications, I specialize in covering topics that matter—environment, sustainability, and travel.

Growing up on the remote island of Kaua'i, Hawai'i, I experienced firsthand the delicate balance between tourism, local communities, and the environment. This early exposure sparked my commitment to sustainable travel and transforming the tourism industry. My dedication led me to pursue a master’s degree in Sustainability (MSc in Nature, Society, and Environmental Governance) from the University of Oxford.

I have professional experience in both the tourism and environment sectors, where I’ve combined my skills in writing, photography, and research to tell stories that resonate. I also collaborated with the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) on a research project pioneering the development of a framework for sustainability in the tourism sector.

I’m the current head editor of Anthroposphere: Oxford Climate Review, an interdisciplinary environmental magazine where I oversee content that bridges nature, policy, art, and human experience.

Whether you’re looking for compelling writing, evocative photography, or insightful editorial work, I offer a range of services designed to bring your stories to life. From writing and copywriting to photography and editing, I’m here to help you craft narratives that inspire and inform.

If you’re curious to learn more or discuss a potential project, I invite you to get in touch. Let’s create something impactful together.
